Chinese characters and language is the origin of many Asian character and language systems. They are amazingly beautiful and carry large amount of history, culture, and art within.

The book introduces the basics of one of the greatest human invention - Chinese characters. The book contains its hisotry, styles, and formationm it also contains some famous Chinese poems which allows the readers to truly appreciate the beauty of each Chinese character.





I applied my knowledge of graphic design from both eastern and western culture to create this book and to introduce Chinese culture to western audience.

This is a poster design for Shaw Communications. Scholarship which was dedicated to ACAD 3rd and 4th year design students. The three Chinese characters "奖学金"means "scholarship", but individually, they mean "reward", "learning", and "gold" which matches the the purpose of this scholarship.

The full title of Nei Jing is called Huang Di Nei Jing, which may be translated as the Yellow Emperor's Classics of Internal Medicine. Two separate books named Su Wen and Ling Shu respectively make up the Nei Jing
The book called Ling Shu means "the Axis of the Divine Soul", it was intended to be a fully comprehensive discussion on traditional Chinese medicine. Su Wen may be translated as "the Classics of Dialogues Concerning Internal Medicine".
"The whole history of traditional Chinese medicine is but a series of footnotes on Nei Jing!"
In this chapter, the patterns of change in the four seasons are discussed, namely, warm spring, hot summer, cool autumn, and cold winter. In order to adjust to such change in favour of health, it is necessary and desirable to nourish Yang in spring and summer and to nourish Yin in autumn and winter.
